My name is Carin Åkesson. I live just outside of Stockholm, Sweden.
I got my first dog, a tricolour shetland sheepdog male in 1968. The breeder convinced us to show him and he was awarded BOB at his first show! That was the start for me in the world of dogshows! My first litter was born in 1975 under the prefix Windcrest. Despite limited breeding I have since then bred many champions, European winner, World winners and Cruft’s winners. In 1989 I got my licence to judge. I now do breeds in group 1, 2, 5 and 9. My judging appointments have taken me to most European countries, UK and Australia.
